Synthesis & Characterization of Bimetallic Nanoparticles by Using PVP for Magnetic Storage Device

Jyotsna Chauhan, Varsha R Mehto, Sumit Tiwari

Abstract

Metal nanoparticles are broadly studied due to their unique chemical and physical properties, which differ from the properties of their respective bulk materials. Bimetallic nanoparticles (BNPs) are formed by the combination of two different metals. Bimetallic nanoparticles have attracted huge attention in fields such as magnetic sensors, catalysts, optical detection and biomedical applications because of their exceptional properties. In this work bimetallic nano particles have been synthesized by using a microwave irradiation method. Characterization was carried out by TEM and UV Spectroscopy.

Keywords
