Need of Thyroid Detection and Computerized Aided Diagnosis Systems Developed in Recent Years

Abstract


The endocrine system includes the thyroid gland, a butterfly-shaped organ with two cone lobes. It's located below the adams apple in the front of the neck. Thyroid problems include hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goitre, benign and malignant thyroid nodules, among others. Researchers recently created computer-aided diagnosis tools to aid doctors in diagnosing thyroid nodules, reducing errors caused by traditional diagnosis methods, which are primarily reliant on doctors' experiences. MRI, X-rays, Computed Tomography, Optical Coherence Tomography, and Ultrasound etc. are examples of imaging technologies, but Ultrasound is mostly used for Thyroid detection. This paper provides Need of Thyroid detection and Computerized Aided Diagnosis Systems which are developed in recent era.
