Review on Gold Nanoparticles and Their Applications

Parul Katyal, Monika kumari

Abstract

Gold nanoparticles are attention because of the outstanding properties (e.g., size and shape depending optical, electrical, and magnetic properties) which can be included into antimicrobial applications, biosensor materials, composite fibers, cryogenic superconducting materials, cosmetic products, and electronic components The properties of Au NPs are different from their bulk form due to the increased surface-to volume ratio determined by the assembly of the Au NPs and the inter-particle interaction. This review paper present a basic induction on various properties and application of gold nanoparticle.
