Highly Birefringence and Flattened Dispersion Photonic Crystal Fiber for Polarization Maintaining

Abstract


In this paper we present flattened dispersion and highly birefringence photonic crystal fiber. Higher Birefringence is required in sensing to maintain the linear polarization by reducing polarization coupling. The Flattened dispersion is used broadband and telecommunication application. This paper structure is hexagonal pcf with circular air-holes and we calculate the pcf property like effective index, dispersion, birefringence, confinement loss. This PCF is designed by COMSOL Multiphysics Software.
