An Introduction of Nanotechnology: Classification, Uses, and Applications of Nanomaterials

Purva Saxena

Abstract

Nanomaterials (NMs) have acquired noticeable quality in creative advancements due to their tuneable physical, synthetic, and organic qualities with improved performance over their mass counterparts. The order of the NMs is determined by their size, creation, form, and starting. The ability to predict the unique features of NMs increases the value of each order. Because of the increased growth of NM creation and their current uses, difficulties relating to harmfulness are inescapable. The goal of this audit is to examine manufactured (designed) and naturally occurring nanoparticles (NPs) and nanostructured materials (NSMs) to identify their nanoscale characteristics and define the information gaps detected with the risk assessment of NPs and NSMs in the environment. The audit provides an overview of the set of experiences and groups of NMs, as well as an outline of the many wellsprings of NPs and NSMs, from natural to made, and their toxic effects on mammalian cells and tissue. Furthermore, the numerous hazardous reactions associated with NPs and NSMs, as well as the policies implemented by various countries to reduce the associated hazards, are discussed.
