Short Review on the Classification of Micromixers
Abstract
Miniaturisation of micron-scale devices produces advantages in analytical chemistry and life science. Micromixers are being used in modern microfluidic systems to facilitate the laboratory-scale operation in small microchips towards the production of microfluidic laboratory-on-a-chip systems for global-market. Polymers are proved to be suitable materials for the fabrication of micromixers. Passive micromixers have the advantage of simple designs
and low cost of fabrication. Micromixers have the applications in analytical chemistry and life science.
