Review on the Hot Embossing Technology to Fabricate the Polymer based Microfluidic Devices in Mechanical Engineering
Abstract
Polymers are suitable materials to fabricate the microfluidic devices in mechanical engineering. Hot embossing technology is useful to fabricate these polymer based microfluidic devices. Both of the lithography and direct bonding can be performed by hot embossing technology to fabricate these polymer based microfluidic devices. Polymer microfluidic devices fabricated by the hot embossing technology are useful in multifarious bioengineering applications according to the available literatures.
