This research paper investigates several obstacles and concerns related to metal additive manufacturing (AM) components to improve the quality of the parts by recommending and implementing appropriate corrective measures. Titanium alloy cellular structures are in high demand for many uses, such as lightweight medical devices, aeroplanes, vehicles, and heat exchangers. This study investigates the manufacturability and performance of Ti6Al4V micro-lattice structures (MLSs) fabricated by Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS). By repeatedly using a unit cell type with selfsupporting (e.g., Star, Tesseract, Cross, Octet) and non-self-supporting (e.g., X, Grid) kind properties, several lattice structures with varying relative densities and unit cell sizes have been produced. However, creating a metal MLS that is free of defects is challenging using the DMLS method. Consequently, this research investigates how lightweight Ti6Al4V MLSs may be designed and constructed with a defect-free lattice structure using the experimental setup of the DMLS techniqueReferences
