Green Nanotechnology Based Analysis & Treatment of Industrial Effluent

Gizachew Diga Milki

Abstract

The research into effluent treatment and recycling is ongoing process. Particularly the development of new methods and technology for nanowaste treatment is a focus of most professionals, scientist and engineers. One of the developments among the emerging technology is the green nanotechnology, which is environmental friendly, affordable and cost effective. This research is an overview of Green nanotechnology based analysis and treatment techniques for an industrial nanowaste is emphasized. Most nanowaste are derived from wastewater, dairy industry, chemical industry, sugar industries, textile industries, and metal industries. These treatment techniques are found valuable for wastewater with heavy metal, chemical waste, and microbial waste, organic waste, polymer waste, and waste from dairy industries. Green nanotechnology provides green hydrogen, green synthesized nanoparticles, semiconductor oxides, nanocomposite, carbon nanomaterials, and Nano polymers for nanowaste treatments and remediation. On the other hand, Nano adsorptions, nano photo catalyst, and Nano membrane are seen both as causative agents for nanowaste and treatment technologies.
