Nanocomposite Sensors in Different Areas

Bangshidhar Goswami, Sonali Nag

Abstract

Nanotechnology is study of matter on atomic and molecular scale. Localized surface plasmon resonance excitations are used for important sensing and spectroscopic applications. Ultrahigh-sensitivity pressure and vibration sensor are based on concept of using variable ultracapacitor consisted of two electrodes containing as grown carbon nano-tubes of length of 20 m. Vibrating grapheme sheets attached with nanoparticles with in magnetic field are used for mass-nanosensor applications. Nanosized ferroelectric sensors have differences in values of Curie temperatures, dielectric constants, coercive fields, and piezoelectric response levels. These have appeared in gas sensors, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and piezoresistive sensors for mechanothermal signals, as well as photodetectors, ionizing radiation detectors and biosensors. Nanosensors in clusters have attractable performances in balanced system of minimized power consumption, hop distance between sensors, controller interventions and tesla hertz as well band width relations.
