The Biotelemetry Project

Abstract


In light of technological advancements and smaller sensors, attempts have been made to utilize the new technology to improve various aspects of human life, specifically in the healthcare industry which suffers from high costs, particularly in developing countries. To address this issue, a remote healthcare system was developed with three main stages: detecting the patient's vital signs through sensors, transmitting the data to cloud storage, and making the information available for remote viewing. This system allows doctors or caretakers to monitor the progress of a patient outside of the hospital setting.
