Study the Structural behavior of Copper Nanoparticle using Polyol Method

S. Praveen, E.N. Ganesh

Abstract

An easy methodology for the preparation of well-dispersed copper nanoparticles by polyol method, victimization 1-hexadecylamine as a protectant within the encompassing medium, has been developed. The size and form of the Nanoparticles are controlled by the polyol method and one in all the wide used ways to induce needed shape of Nanoparticles. Generally, PVP is uses as stabilizer for forming smaller size nanoparticles however extremely non-uniform, during this paper proposing polyol synthesized method to create uniform spherical nanoparticles using Hexadecyl amine. the upper alkylamine/Cu molar magnitude relation resulted in the production of spherical and smaller copper nanoparticles. The metal and gold ready using alkylamine exhibited tiny and uniform nanoparticles showing the effectiveness of long-chain alkylamines as hair-coating agents. The nanoparticles show self assembly on an alkylamine background.
